Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. You will provide stepdown care, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification and NIHSS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; document nursing history and assessments.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors; collaborate with the care team.
