Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, VA. The role involves caring for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with a 36-hour week on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in Virginia.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry data and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and notify physicians of changes.
