Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week Leonardtown, MD assignment. Expect 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and competitive pay with strong benefits in a supportive clinical team.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. You’ll care for patients transitioning from ICU with telemetry monitoring and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in Maryland.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification.
• Preferred NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessments; report changes to physician.
