Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia. The RN will ensure delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising junior staff.

The role requires BLS and ACLS certification prior to the first shift, at least 2 years of bedside experience, and involves 3x12 hour night shifts per week with a 13-week contract. Travel and housing considerations are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with patients/family and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely patient information and status updates for care conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
