Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 17-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. You will provide specialized cardiac care to patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units, with a 12-hour shift and 36 hours per week.

The role requires one year of Stepdown experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and a dedicated clinical team support are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience required.
• Current RN license in state where employed.
• BLS Certification current (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS Certification current (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, telemetry data and respond to changes.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with a cardiac focus.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Ensure telemetry patients are comfortable and safe.
• Document assessments and patient status; report to team.
• Respond to life-threatening events per hospital protocols.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
