Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment in New York, NY. The start date is 10/26/2026, with 34 hours per week and night shifts.

The role requires a Stepdown RN with current RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Join a team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care and gain travel experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred.
• NIHSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data, vital signs, and patient status to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle factors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
