Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This PCU role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

As a PCU Travel Nurse you’ll monitor cardiac and vital signs, titrate medications, and provide bedside care. Travel benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and initiate IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
