Job summary

TotalMed RN in Leonardtown, MD is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting 11/02/2026. The role is 36 hours weekly, 12-hour night shifts, travel employment.

You will monitor cardiac and vitals, administer medications, change dressings, and advise on care plans for step-down patients. ACLS/BLS required with 1–2 years of acute care experience; certification and travel nursing credentials expected. Benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• RN license and state regulation compliance.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment, interpret electronic displays.
• Collaborate with care team to adjust treatment plans.
