Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. The PCU nurse will monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide step-down care for patients needing continuous assessment.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, and 1-2 years of acute care experience. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week and night shifts with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

1-2 years of recent acute care experience desired.
BLS and ACLS certifications required or as specified.

Responsibilities

Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
Monitor patients with cardiac monitors and IVs; titrate medications as prescribed.
Administer prescribed medications and document responses; report adverse events.
Maintain readiness for rapid intervention in a fast-paced PCU setting.
