Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PCU RN for a travel assignment in Mesa, AZ. The nurse will support the Progressive Care Unit, monitor cardiac patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety during care transitions.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and is comfortable with 12-hour night shifts. This 13-week assignment offers weekly pay and travel benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel RN experience preferred and flexible with assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust monitoring equipment; interpret displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse signs.
