Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. seeks a Travel RN for the PCU at HCA HealthONE Aurora, CO. The unit spans 345 beds across Magnet-designated sites with Tele Floors and a PCU. Shift is 7P-7A; location at 1501 S Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80012.

The role requires acute care PCU experience and the ability to float between units. You will work with RNs and CNAs, use Meditech EMR, and participate in interdisciplinary care. The team values flexibility, compassion, and a patient-focused approach; benefits include

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS and NIH certifications.
• Meditech EMR experience.
• Chemo Certification (preferred on Oncology unit).
• Prior Meditech experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed.
• Collaborate with RNs and CNAs to maintain patient care.
• Assist across units to support patient safety and throughput.

• Number of Staff float pool is about 80
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift RN and CNAs on most units
• Night Shift RNs and CNAs on most units
• Patient Ratios 1:5 days and nights varies between units
• Types of equipment - various
• EMR - Meditech
• Typical hiring profile
• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience
• BLS, ACLS & NIH
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Prior Meditech experience
• Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit)
• List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Varies between units Large Cardiac Population what 2 Tele Floors and a PCU
• Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
