Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC is seeking a perioperative nurse for a travel contract in Hermiston, Oregon. You will provide pre-anesthesia, Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care; assess patients, manage IV access, monitor airway and vitals, administer medications, manage pain and nausea, and provide discharge education.

Responsibilities include caring for patients undergoing local procedures, assisting with nerve blocks, documenting in the EMR, and participating in scheduled post-anesthesia call

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-anesthesia, Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care
• Assess patients, manage IV access, monitor airway and vital signs
• Administer medications, manage pain and nausea
• Provide discharge education
• Assist with nerve blocks for local procedures
• Document in EMR and participate in post-anesthesia call rotation
• Offer focused perioperative care with critical-care judgment in recovery setting
