Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU nurse for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The role requires completing pre- and post-operative nursing assessments and collaborating with the anesthesia team.

Shifts run 2:00PM–10:30PM, five days a week, with potential extension. Eligible candidates will manage IV access, monitor patient status, and provide comprehensive peri-anesthesia care under guidelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing assessments in pre/postoperative care.
• Admissions according to standards of care.
• IV access initiation and management.
• Monitor vitals and report changes per guidelines.
• Use Aldrete scoring in PACU.

Responsabilités

• Complete nursing assessments on patients in pre/postoperative phase.
• Perform patient admissions according to established standards of care.
• Initiate and manage intravenous access.
• Observe patients' vital signs and report changes; intervene as needed.
• Use the Aldrete scoring system in PACU care.
• Maintain airway and respiratory function.
• Assist anesthesia with nerve blocks as needed.
• Document care and maintain patient privacy.
