American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for PACU/Prep-Recovery with Phase I/II recovery background and Epic charting proficiency. The role demands a valid Oregon RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months, plus 5+ years of nursing experience including prep recovery.

The position offers day shifts (3x12s or 4x9s), 36 hours weekly, with no nights, calls, or holidays. Travel through West Valley Hospital network may be required.

Qualifikationen

• D1 Active RN license in Oregon
• D1 BLS certification (AHA)
• D1 ACLS certification
• D1 PALS within 6 months of hire
• D1 5+ years nursing experience with 2+ years Prep Recovery Phase II
• D1 1 year acute PACU experience preferred
• D1 Epic charting experience
• D1 Experience with monitoring and IV therapies
• D1 Care across multiple surgical specialties including ortho/neuro/GI/GU/GYN/bariatric

Aufgaben

• Work in PACU/Prep-Recovery (Phase I recovery) unit
• Day shift 3x12s or 4x9s depending on staffing
• 36 hours per week
• No night shift, calls, or holidays
• May float within facility or to nearby facilities
• Provide safe, quality nursing across surgical services
• Pre/post-operative assessments, education, meds, discharge instructions
• Pain assessment and PCA pump management
• Monitor dysrhythmias and cardiac telemetry
• Care for patients under general, spinal, or MAC anesthesia
• RTO rules apply; prior Salem Health termination requires six-month wait
