Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, NM. You will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth handoffs.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia conditions.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU nursing techniques.
• Document patient assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
