Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a Santa Fe, NM assignment. The role centers on coordinating patient care in the PACU within a surgical services setting, ensuring safety and efficiency in recovery.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico registered nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license.
• BLS certification via the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification via the AHA.
• PALS certification via the AHA.
• Graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Knowledgeable in patient rights and effective communication tailored to patient developmental age.

• Initial assessments and development of measurable individualized care plans.
• Perform Point of Care testing and patient discharge planning.
• Provide clinical decision-making and timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families to promote safety and recovery.
