Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This PACU RN role focuses on post-anesthesia care, recovery assessments, and collaboration with surgical teams.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• English language reading/writing and clear communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced travel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery status in PACU.
• Administer medications per post-anesthesia protocols.
• Document care and communicate with OR and post-PACU teams.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education.
