Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel PACU RN in Santa Fe, NM for a 13-week assignment. This role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certificates. You will provide observation and care as patients recover from anesthesia, coordinating with the surgical team to ensure safe transitions.

The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and the chance to work in a fast-paced PACU environment while balancing travel commitments and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
• Travel RN flexibility and mobility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are ready to transfer to a room.
