Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN to join the PACU in Lancaster, Ohio. This 13-week assignment offers a dayshift schedule (8:30 AM–6:00 PM), 40 hours per week in a hospital setting. Start ASAP with typical credentialing.

Requires active OH or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of RN experience. Maintain nursing documentation, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a PACU position requiring an active OH or compact license and 2+ years of RN experience.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 8:30AM to 6PM using a 4x9 work week
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend call required one day (Saturday or Sunday) every 6 weeks
• Night call required 4-5 times per 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to perform heavy work, including exerting 50-100 lbs of force occasionally and frequent patient handling

The $2,286 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
