Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a qualified RN to join the PACU team on a 13-week travel contract in Salem, VA. This is a day-shift role, 12 hours per day, three days a week, with a start date of 9/30/2026.

The assignment offers a weekly pay package: $1,246 in stipends plus $18/hour base pay ($648 weekly). ACLS, BLS and PALS are required; ICU or ER experience is preferred. Schedule includes 9a-9p or 7a-7p with 1–2 calls per week.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certification required.
• ICU or ER experience preferred.
• Nursing experience in PACU/OR environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care on the 2nd floor.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer meds, and manage comfort.
• Collaborate with OR team and PACU staff to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Accurately document care in the Expans e system and comply with scheduling requirements.

Documentation system: Expanse
Scheduling requirements: 9 or 12 hour shifts, call 1-2 times a week, 1 call weekend a month. 7a-7p, 7p-7A. 2 call Holidays per year
Floating policy: closed unit
Patient Experience requirements: prefer 1-2 years ICU or ER experience, 1 year floor experience
Hospital Specifics-
