Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric OR travel assignment in Nebraska. The role requires active Nebraska or Compact RN license, BLS and PALS, and 1 year of experience with circulate/scrub duties across pediatric surgical specialties.

You will work in a 12-bed Pediatric OR, with day shifts (4x10 hour shifts from 10:30 to 21:00) and required on-call and off-shift rotation. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Nebraska or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Circulate and scrub experience required.
• Experience with pediatric orthopedic procedures including ACL reconstruction and arthroscopy of knee, shoulder, and wrist.
• Experience with pediatric craniofacial, oral, and plastics procedures including cleft lip/cleft palate repair.
• Experience with pediatric urology procedures including cystoscopy, cystogram, pyelogram, nephrectomy, and orchiectomy/orchidopexy.
• Experience with pediatric ophthalmology procedures including eye trauma.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed Pediatric OR unit

• On-call responsibilities required
• Provide circulating and scrub nursing support across a range of pediatric surgical specialties
