American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Operating Room assignment in Oakland, CA. CA RN license, BSN, BLS and PALS are required; CNOR is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of pediatric OR experience, including pediatric general OR.

The role offers 10-hour day shifts, occasional weekends, and opportunities to float within UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifikationen

• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
• Experience in Pediatric General OR required.
• Preferred experience in Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, and Trauma.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Trauma Level I experience required.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Two professional references from most recent employer required for consideration.

Aufgaben

• Pediatric OR unit within a children's hospital setting.
• 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (6:45 AM or 8:45 AM), rotating weekly based on department need.
• Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends.
• Epic charting system used.
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius required.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of pediatric surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ENT, cardiovascular, neurology, and more.
• Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed in employment history, including dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and approved by the manager at time of offer, with no additional requests accepted mid-contract.
• RTO is not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit, and married couples may not work on the same unit.
