Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
• Provides patient and family education throughout the care process.

• Patient population includes pre-op open heart and total joint replacement patients
• Handles pre-op and PACU phase II workflows
• Moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover experience a plus
• Day shift, 4x10s, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off depending on schedule
• Start times vary between 5:30am and 11am based on case volume
• Uses EPIC EMR
