• Circulate in the Surgery department's Operating Room during surgical procedures.
• Facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a county-designated trauma center.
• Day/Evening shift schedule of 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 0600-2030, with openness to 4x10 schedules.
• Schedule and start times rotate.
• On-call required at least one night per week and one weekend per schedule, with potential for additional call based on need.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator requiring a CA RN license, ortho/neuro/trauma experience, and weekly on-call availability.

Additional Information

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff flow during surgical procedures
• Ensure patient safety throughout all phases of perioperative care
• Apply aseptic technique principles consistently and safely operate OR equipment
• Prepare patients for surgery, including proper anatomical positioning
• Perform pre, intra, and post-procedure patient care planning and assessment
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials from operative procedures
• Document tissue/allograft temperature and verify package integrity per manufacturer guidelines
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
