Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in York, PA, requiring proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and Level II trauma experience at minimum. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license (Compact or PA), BLS, and have at least 3 years of OR experience, including robotics scrub/circulate and teaching-hospital exposure.

Schedule is 4x10s, with 1:1 patient care and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) in hand.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience, 2 years post-orientation.
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Must function independently on the Da Vinci Xi system.
• Familiarity with DV5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital.
• Day shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• 2–3 calls within a 6 week matrix, 30-minute response.
• 3–4 weekend shifts within a 6 week matrix; may include days/evenings/nights.
• Holiday coverage as needed; floating as required.
• Epic charting experience preferred; scrub and circulate skills valued.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and Level II trauma experience at minimum.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand, no license hits accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 3 years of experience required, with at least 2 years post-orientation
• Level II Trauma experience required (minimum 1 year), Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Must function independently without refresher training on the Da Vinci Xi robotic system
• Familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robot is a plus
• Must be proficient in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must function independently across multiple specialties including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac/open heart), and trauma

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Call requirement of 2-3 calls within a 6 week matrix with 30-minute response time required
• 3-4 weekend shifts required within a 6 week matrix, which may include days, evenings, or nights
• Holiday coverage required as needed on day, evening, or night shifts
• Floating required as needed
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• May involve care for COVID-positive patients
• Travel pairs may be considered, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Maximum RTO of 7 days preferred
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local and may be offered a lower bill rate
