Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN-Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring an active AK RN license and 3 years of circulator experience.
We offer a travel RN assignment in Alaska with a 13-week term, 4x10-hour shifts, and on-call duties. Start date around Oct 26, 2026, with lodging and per diem as applicable. Prior OR scrub and patient care duties are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Alaska required at submission time.
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN).
- High school diploma or GED.

- Operate in an OR setting handling elective and emergency cases with diverse specialties.
- Full-time schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday.
- On-call required for nights, holidays, and weekends to staff the OR.

- Operating Room setting handling elective and emergency cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedic, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
- Full time schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday
- On-call required for nights, holidays, and weekends to staff the Operating Room
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska required at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience required

- Efficiently multi-tasks to ensure surgical cases proceed on schedule throughout the day
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Room settings strongly preferred
