Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level II trauma center. Requires 2 years multispecialty acute care OR experience and a TX or compact RN license.

The role includes shift hours 05:30-17:00, no weekends or holidays, no on-call, and no floating to other units. Cerner EMR is used, and scrubs are provided. Local candidates receive a reduced rate; travelers qualify for full travel rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care center with multispecialty OR experience.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a multispecialty Level II trauma center OR with 24/7 in-house staffing.
• Manage 10 OR suites with a charge nurse, 3 PCTs, and 3 anesthesia techs during day shift.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.
• Work in a high-acuity trauma center environment with robust support staff.
• Must reside outside the facility's local radius to qualify for full travel rate (local candidates at reduced rate).
• No weekends/holidays required; no on-call; no unit floating.
• Scrubs provided; uses Cerner EMR.

• Operating Room unit within a multispecialty Level II trauma center with 24/7 in-house staffing
• 10 OR suites with 1 charge nurse, 3 PCTs, and 3 anesthesia techs during day shift
• No ancillary staff overnight, with 24-hour on-call coverage available
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Shift hours are 05:30-17:00 with block scheduling
• No weekends or holidays required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to other units
• Scrubs are provided
• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Work within a high-acuity trauma center environment with robust support staff
