Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room. The role requires active Oregon RN licensure and perioperative certifications with call coverage and travel-ready flexibility.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of RN circulator experience, OR scrub exposure, and Peri-op 101 or CNOR interest. A blended schedule with three 12-hour shifts and potential cross-department work is noted.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in State of Oregon.
• Current OR RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
• AS in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience as RN circulator.
• Previous RN circulator experience preferred.
• Scrub experience and Peri-op 101 course completion preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• CRASE training if assignment extends beyond 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the OR perioperative setting, supporting all patient populations.
• Work day shift: 12-hour shifts, 0630–1900, 3 shifts per week.
• Attend scheduled call rotations.
• Possibly float to other departments when qualified.
• Act as patient advocate and supervise staff during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, correct surgical site/side/level, and manage specimens per policy.
• Administer medications and document nursing care accurately.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and maintain required competencies.
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent, ethical patient care within standards.
• Support facility mission, policies and procedures; participate in DNV program education as applicable.
