Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in the Surgical Services Department.
• Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Day shift 4x10s from 0700-1630, Monday–Thursday; on-call responsibilities.
• Operates and monitors perioperative equipment as needed.
• Provides circulating nursing care in the operating room.
• Part of the Adventist Health network.
• Complies with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
• Category 1 exposure to blood and body fluids.

Responsibilities

• Works within the Surgical Services Department providing professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum
• Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines
• Day shift schedule, 4x10s from 0700-1630, Monday through Thursday
• On-call responsibilities required
• Frequently uses computers, monitors, glucometers, IV/PCA/epidural pumps, and blanket warmers
• Provides circulating nursing care in the operating room setting
• Part of the Adventist Health network
• Must comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
• Category 1 potential exposure to blood and body fluids
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Can only be actively submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
