Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room role in a Level 1 Trauma facility in Texas. Minimum 3 years OR nursing experience, TX license or compact license, and BLS are required.

The shift is 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM for a 26-week assignment with weekend call and holiday coverage. OR team supports ortho, neuro, robotics, and plastics; local candidates may be paid at a reduced rate according to radius rules.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license or compact license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required.
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
• Experience in ortho, neuro, robotics, and plastics procedures preferred.
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR unit with a Level 1 Trauma facility.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR unit.
• Shift hours from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
• 26-week assignment length; weekend call on a rotating basis.
• Holiday coverage as assigned.
• Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on radius requirements.
