Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in Iowa is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. This part-time, 12 Hour Night Shift offers premium pay and a flexible schedule with opportunities nationwide.

Nurses float across units/locations, uphold professional standards, and collaborate with stakeholders. Requires RN licensure, 18 months Med/Surg/Tele/PCU or 2 years in other specialties, and ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
Minimum 2 years for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
Credentials required per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate as per professional practice.
Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
