Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois. This Neuro MS/TELE RN unit requires 13 weeks of assignment with 48 hours per week, night shifts, and travel status.

Active IL RN license required (temp license accepted), BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are expected. Two years of Med Surg/TELE with Neuro experience is required; EPIC charting experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required; temporary IL license accepted.
• Certification: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS per policy.
• Two years Med Surg/Telemetry experience; one travel assignment preferred.
• Neuro experience required and ability to float to medical unit.

Responsibilities

• Care for Neuro/Neuro-Surgical patients including CVSAs and post-op.
• Perform NIHSS, dysphagia screens, and neuro assessments.
• Utilize EPIC for charting; manage I&Os and IV therapies.
• Handle 12-hour night shifts; coordinate with telemetry monitoring.
