Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU travel assignment in Georgia. Requires a current GA or Compact license, BLS and NRP certification, and a minimum of 2 years NICU experience. Overnight 12-hour shifts, 7PM–7:30AM, with three shifts weekly.

Travel staff must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Holiday coverage is required and generous housing allowances, benefits, and per diem are provided.

• Current certifications: BLS and NRP.
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the NICU/Special Care Nurseries in a hospital.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent specialty experience and NRP certification.

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the NICU specialty required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Special Care Nurseries/NICU unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, with schedule varying between 7PM-7:30AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients
• Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
