Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN in California (Bakersfield area) with CA RN licensure and NRP/STABLE credentials. The role is night shift with 36–48 hours per week and EPIC experience is required.

Travel and licensure reimbursements and housing options are offered. Local candidates considered with travel rate alignment; RTO limits apply.

Responsibilities

• Work in the NICU
• Night shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• EPIC experience required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned NICU patients according to standards and nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and humane care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule and local rates equal to travel rates
