Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position requiring MA licensure and NICU experience in a Level II Nursery setting.

Details

• Level II Nursery NICU setting caring for full term and premature infants
• Works with critically ill neonates and infants requiring complex medical and surgical care
• 12-hour night shifts, either 7p-7:30a or 11p-11:30a
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Requirements

• Active RN license (MA) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Nursing Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
• Excellent assessment, clinical, and organizational skills
• Computer knowledge and charge capabilities required
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Ability to complete mathematical computations for treatment protocols

Additional Information

• Provide in-house emergency nursing services for full term and premature infants
• Ensure care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and culturally and spiritually appropriate for patients and families
• Deliver competent and compassionate nursing care to patients and families
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
