Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level III/IV NICU position requiring 2+ years of neonatal intensive care experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required on Fridays and Saturdays
• Possible on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Texas or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 2+ years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
• Experience with HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC lines required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Resume required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to NICU required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last year required
• Proof of taxable address required (e.g. driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, or similar document)

Additional Information

• Coordinate individualized patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on patient condition, competencies, and state nursing practice guidelines
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local
• Must disclose any previous employment history with the facility in candidate profile
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
