Job summary

You will develop care plans, perform nursing diagnoses, document medication administration, and ensure safety compliance. The position offers flexible hours and opportunities for local and travel contracts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• ACLS preferred; BLS required.
• Ability to work flexible hours in an acute rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as directed

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year experience.
• Must have efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
