Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse to support Rural Critical Access Hospitals across North Dakota. You will provide direct patient care, follow clinical protocols, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in remote communities.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS preferred, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. This contract role offers housing support, travel reimbursement, and opportunities to expand clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient care activities.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and efficiency, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatment, adapting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management strategies, preventive healthcare measures, and community resources.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring continuity of care throughout the healthcare journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and documentation standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts to enhance the delivery of care in rural settings.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state.
