Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in La Plata, MD. The role involves applying nursing process and delivering post-partum patient care, with supervision as needed.

You will demonstrate clinical judgment, coordinate care with the team, and uphold standards of practice in a fast-paced facility. Requirements include an active RN license in the state, CPR, and preferred postpartum experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nursing license within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year postpartum experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Provide nursing care for postpartum patients according to the nursing process.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and coordinate patient care with the team.
• Maintain standards of practice and ensure patient safety and comfort.
