Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in La Plata, MD. The RN will support mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitor vitals, and respond to potential complications.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
• RNC-OB preferred.
• CPR certification, TB/PPD or chest x-ray as applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to mothers during labor and delivery and monitor maternal vitals.
• Educate patients and address psychosocial needs after delivery.
• Coordinate patient care and assist the team to ensure safe, efficient deliveries.
