Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in La Plata, MD. The role involves applying nursing process and delivering post-partum patient care, with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nursing license within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year postpartum experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby assumes responsibilityand accountability for the application of the nursing process and the deliveryof patient care for post-partum patients.The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgmentsin an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The Registered Nurse demonstrates criticalthinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others inthe management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements
