Job summary

Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA seeks a Travel RN for MedSurg/Tele. Night shift on a 36-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio, staffed by a CN, RN/LPN mix, 3 techs and a secretary.

ACLS is required prior to submission; Meditech experience is preferred. Within 50 miles of the facility; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required prior to submission.
• Med Surg Tele experience is essential.
• Meditech EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide MedSurg/Tele nursing care on the unit.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNs, techs and physicians to ensure quality care.
• Follow unit guidelines and hospital policies.
