American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a fast-paced Medical ICU/Trauma ICU and Neuro ICU assignment in California. The role requires an active CA RN license, current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, TNCC, and a minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience.

You will work night shifts on a rotating schedule (3x12s or 4x12s) and use Epic EMR for patient care and documentation. On-call duties are rare and the position is represented by CNA.

Competenze

• Active California RN license required.
• Current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.
• TNCC required or obtained before start date.
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience, within last 3 months.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Education: HS Diploma/GED plus an Associate's; BSN preferred.
• Completion of a Critical Care Nursing course.
• No prior adverse licensure actions.

• Care for patients with multi-system failure requiring ventilation, neuro/trauma conditions, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Uses Epic EMR
• On-call responsibilities are rare
• Provide critical care nursing to patients requiring ventilation, neuro/trauma care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Interpret ECG rhythms and manage patients during life-threatening emergencies
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in ICP and ventriculostomy monitoring and management
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• This position is represented by CNA
