Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg role with telemetry background and NIH certification on a 13-week night shift assignment in Wisconsin. LICENSE: Active WI or compact RN license; BLS; NIH Stroke Scale; 2+ years Med/Surg exp; telemetry reading skills; EPIC EMR experience; travel nursing preferred; Nursys verification within 30 days.
Responsibilities include direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit, night shift 19:00–07:30, and potential floating within 40 miles.
Qualifications
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Telemetry background with ability to read telemetry strips
- Prior travel nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
Responsibilities
- Med/Surg unit setting
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift schedule 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Uses EPIC EMR
- May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
- RTO requests discussed with unit leadership ~45 days before assignment end date
