Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Milton, MA. The role is a 8‑week Med Surg Tele position with 12‑hour day shifts (3x12s) and every‑other‑weekend coverage, starting January 5, 2027.

Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with weekly pay ranging from $2,560 to $2,700. Epic EMR experience is required to document and manage patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• CPR and ACLS certifications (BLS and ACLS required).
• Epic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adults on a med-surg telemetry unit, including continuous monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders, with careful documentation in the Epic system.
• Conduct frequent patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; communicate changes to patients and families.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently; manage dysrhythmias and elevate when needed.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education, including discharge planning and care instructions.
