Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Boston, MA seeks a Travel Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele. The assignment starts 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks with weekly pay and guaranteed 72 biweekly hours. The role features a 12-hour rotating day/night shift in a hospital setting.

You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with the care team. Emphasis on education, discharge planning, and infection control.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required for temporary and permanent positions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPR-AHA accepted.
• EMR experience and basic computer skills are essential.
• 1–3 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients on a rotating 12-hour schedule.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings in the EMR.
• Administer medications and monitor infusion therapies, including telemetry as needed.
• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and escalate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other disciplines to implement and adjust care plans.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure safety and infection control standards.
