Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry travel assignment in Milton, MA. The position runs 8 weeks starting January 5, 2027, with 72 hours biweekly and weekly pay between $2,560 and $2,700.

Shifts are 12-hour days, with every-other-weekend coverage in an inpatient setting using Epic EMR. The role requires MMA-licensed RNs with 2+ years in acute med-surg telemetry, CPR/ACLS, and Epic experience.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute med-surg and telemetry nursing experience
• CPR and ACLS certifications (BLS and ACLS required)
• Epic experience required
• Ability to work on an inpatient med-surg telemetry unit; float flexibility as needed
• Pre-employment testing: Dysrhythmia and Medication tests with 85% passing score
• Onboarding readiness to interpret telemetry strips; no telemetry technicians on unit

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adults on a med-surg telemetry unit, including continuous monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders, with documentation in Epic
• Conduct frequent patient assessments and monitor clinical status
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; communicate changes to patients and families
• Read and interpret telemetry strips; manage dysrhythmias and escalate as needed
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education, including discharge planning and instructions
