Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for Med/Surg Tele in Maryland. This travel-friendly role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and an active MD or Compact RN license.

Night shift, 3x12 hours, 63 beds, patient ratio 1:5, with some weekend coverage and floating within the unit. Navy scrub color is required; housing allowance and licensure travel reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit with 63 rooms/beds.
• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 20:00-08:30.
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating required within specialty to lower acuity units as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled.
• Navy scrub color required.
