Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Washington, DC. The 13-week assignment requires DC RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and Cerner EMR proficiency. Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital is expected.

The role includes night shifts (3x12hrs), 36 hrs/week, with a 13-week length. Travel RN with DC licensure qualifies for compensation outlined below.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in DC is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required.
• BSN highly desired.
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and ongoing evaluations according to policy and procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate, competent nursing care across the patient lifespan.
• Interpret patient data to determine nursing interventions and treatment needs.
