Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Level II Trauma Center in Missouri. Must hold MO or compact RN license, be BLS/ACLS certified, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience.

BSN preferred and IV start/IV labs experience required. Night shift 3x12s, 1900-0730, Epic charting used for documentation. This travel role offers generous housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, per diem, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Must be able to start IV lines and draw labs.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Experience with telemetry, CVA care, wound care, IV insulin protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a Level II Trauma and Level II Stroke Center.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 1900-0730.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• Provide med/surg and telemetry nursing care, including IV therapy, phlebotomy, central/PICC line management, and blood product administration.
• Care for neurological/psychiatric, orthopedic trauma, and post-surgical patients.
• Manage respiratory support, including oxygen and suctioning.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate; travel rate requires residence within 50 miles.
• Previous employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• First-time travelers are welcome.

• Manage respiratory support including oxygen administration and oral suctioning
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
